S.C. GOVERNOR HENRY McMASTER ORDERS AN EVACUATION OF ZONE A IN GEORGETOWN COUNTY BEGINNING TODAY AT 12:00 NOON
Town of Pawleys Island, SC – September 2, 2019 – S.C. Governor Henry McMaster has ordered a mandatory evacuation of Zone A in Georgetown County effective today, Monday September 2ndat 12:00PM. Access to the Town of Pawleys Island will be restricted beginning Wednesday at 12:00PM. Pawleys Island is still within the cone of uncertainty, and we can expect to experience tropical storm force winds, heavy rain, flooding, rip currents and coastal erosion.
