9-19-2019 – The Town’s request to amend the Renourishment project permits was approved. The permit modification authorizes expanding the beach placement footprint an additional 2,100 feet north to 3rd Street. Its also moves up the allowable dredge window to October 1, 2019.
9-12-2019 – The Town held the pre-construction meeting with representatives from the Town’s Coastal Engineer, Coastal Science & Engineering, and Marinex Construction, Inc. The contractor will begin mobilizing their equipment on 9-16-2019 and plans to begin pumping sand on 10-1-2019.
