Town Clerk/Treasurer, Town of Pawleys Island
Position Category: Administration Position Hours: Job Duties: The Town of Pawleys Island, South Carolina is currently seeking a Town Clerk/Treasurer to coordinate and manage administrative support for the Town by applying all Town accounting principles, standards and functions including AP/AR, payroll, records management, budget preparation, Town and State financial reporting, preparation of minutes and publications, attend Town Council meetings to take minutes, maintain ordinances, resolutions, policies, and other documents related to governmental business. Performs administrative, professional, and clerical duties in support to the Town Board and Town Manager. Serves as Treasurer and is responsible for the entirety of financial activities. Serves as Municipal Court Clerk and Records Manager. Duties and responsibilities are also subject to change by the employer as the needs of the employer and requirements of the job change. This position operates with a high degree of autonomy and requires independent decision-making. |
