COVID-19 UPDATE
The Town’s beaches reopened today. The Pawleys Island Police Department will be actively patrolling the beach to ensure all beach goers adhere to the current social distancing guidelines.
The south end lot and First Street beach access reopened today
The Town’s prohibition on short term rentals will end on Friday, May 8.
Town Hall remains closed to the public until further notice. Although these facilities are closed, the work of the town continues uninterrupted through the COVID-19 response. Please continue to contact town staff as normal for your business needs.
We encourage all citizens to delay all nonessential business and walk-in customer service. We will not issue golf cart permits or beach fire permits during this time.
Police and fire services continue to operate normally. Call 911 if you have an emergency.
Parking and Court tickets can be paid by mail to 323 Myrtle Avenue, Pawleys Island, SC 29585.
Municipal Court will be rescheduled for a later date.

Today, Governor McMaster announced the following changes to his previous executive orders:
- Outside dining will be allowed beginning May 4, 2020.
- Travel restrictions for previously identified hotspots have been lifted.
- Home or Work Order will be lifted on May 4, 2020
The Town advises the public to take precautions issued by SCDHEC, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the World Health Organization.
