As of now, we are very fortunate as we are on the right side of the storm. Ryan reports that the ocean is calm and flat and the creek is almost dry as the wind is pushing the water away from the island. Also, we have had very little rain and very little flooding. We do expect this to change as the storm moves a little more south and we start to get the effects of the other side of the storm. The big problem that we are going to have is the duration of the storm. It is moving at a snails pace. It may be some time tomorrow before Pawleys gets the main impact of the storm. So far, so good. We will keep sending updates as conditions change.
