HURRICANE DORIAN UPDATE #5 (9/5/2019)
There is still too much water on Myrtle Avenue for us to safely access the island and assess the impacts of Hurricane Dorian. Chief Fanning and I are currently waiting it out at Town Hall and we will head out as soon as the water subsides. I can confirm that the entire lost power around 4:30pm and the ground floor of the new Town Hall was inundated with about 2 feet of water.
I know this is a stressful time for everyone and we will release an update as soon as we’re able to safely access the island and get word out.
