4th of July Parade Details
See the following flyer for details on how you can participate in our Annual 4th of July Parade. Registration for parade floats, house decoration, and dock decoration all take place at Old Town Hall. Please visit between Noon-4pm through July 3rd to register. We can take parade float registrations on the 4th but please be onsite at the South Causeway by 9:15am and have $20 available for one of our volunteers.
As you can see on the flyer the local business community has shown generous support for this year’s prizes. The following are the official categories:

If you are attending the parade please keep in mind the following logistics:
Parade Starts at 10am at the South Causeway. The South Causeway will close at 9am except for vehicles participating in the parade. The North Causeway will remain open to traffic until 10am.
The parade route is as follows:
South Causeway > Right to go southbound on Myrtle Ave> Continue southbound on Doyle> Left on Pritchard> Left on Springs> Left on Hazard> Right to go northbound on Myrtle Ave> Right on First Street> Left on Atlantic> turnaround at the traffic circle to return southbound on Atlantic> Right on Third St> Left on Myrtle Ave. Parade ends at Old Town Hall at the intersection of Myrtle Ave and the North Causeway.
Streets will reopen to normal traffic as the parade progresses through the route starting with the South Causeway. The exact reopening will be dependent on the pace of the parade and when the Pawleys Island Police Department deems it is safe. Please follow their guidance and direction throughout the day.
